Long Beach Jazz Festival 2007 at the Long Beach Public Library.  LBLWV volunteers needed for 1-2 hours at the LB Library, Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 4:00 PM to help with voter registration and enjoy the music.  Call Riza Laudin at 897-6850 to arrange the best time for you.

The Annual Freedom Flight 9-11 tribute includes a Kite Exhibition and music at Riverside Boulevard.

Ancient Order of Hibernians Irish Day Parade begins at 12 noon.  Volunteer marchers can contact Jeanne Browne at 889-4343 to march behind the new LWV banner with the local LWV contingent.

** Open sessions for City Council meetings are from 6PM to 7:30PM. Citizens listen to deliberations of Council but may not speak. Citizens may speak on Agenda Items at the council meeting.and at the Good and Welfare sessions only on the 1st meeting of the month. Council Agendas are available in the City Clerk’s office on the 3rd floor of City Hall and at the library. When City Hall is closed, agendas may be obtained at Police Headquarters and at www.longbeachny.org
